Circulating oil wear starts with oxidation, water and air — before a bearing heats up or a filter clogs.
Oxidation and sludgeDTE Named forms little sludge, and SHC 600 and Glygoyle resist oxidation even at high temperature.
Water in the circuit
Vacuoline 100 was made for bearings exposed to a lot of water and separates it quickly; so do DTE Named and Vacuoline 500.
Foam and air in the oil
DTE Named resists foaming and releases air quickly, which protects pumps from cavitation.
Rust and corrosion
DTE Named, Vacuoline 100 and SHC 600 protect against rust and corrosion. Vacuoline 500 leaves a thin protective film on surfaces.
Bearing and gear wear
Vacuoline 500 gives strong bearing and gear protection, and SHC 600 keeps its viscosity under shear.

Prefer to call?+48 71 359 34 62Mineral DTE Named and Vacuoline cover most circuits. Choose SHC 600 for extreme temperatures and heavily loaded gears, and Glygoyle (PAG) where mineral oil cannot withstand the temperature.
No. PAG oils do not mix with mineral oils or most synthetics, and Glygoyle 11, 22 and 30 must not be mixed with the Glygoyle series. Flush the system before changing; suitable seals are FKM and VMQ.
Yes. Mineral oil residue limits the synthetic oil’s properties, so clean the system before the change, as the manufacturer recommends.
For backup roll plain bearings exposed to a lot of water, choose Vacuoline 100. For No-Twist wire rod mills, the manufacturer specifies Vacuoline 500.
The machine manufacturer specifies the viscosity grade in its documentation. If you do not have it, send the machine type and current oil — we will select the ISO VG grade.
