Deposits in an oil system build up over years: sticky oil oxidation products and sludge collect in tanks and pipes. Metal parts keep oil and grease after machining. Each needs a different product to remove it.
Deposits and sludge in the system
Mobilsol PM has strong cleaning properties. It removes deposits, carbonaceous material and sludge built up in tanks and pipes.
Oil oxidation products
Mobilsol PM releases them and holds them in suspension with insoluble contaminants, and the filters remove them from circulation.
Machine downtime for cleaning
You add Mobilsol PM to the oil of a running system. You stop the machine only to drain the oil and refill with fresh oil.
Oil and grease on parts
Mobil Clean Industrial dissolves greasy and oily residue from metalworking. Its low surface tension lets it wet the metal well.

Mobil Clean Industrial evaporates quickly and completely at ambient temperature, so parts stay clean and dry.
A sample analysis shows contamination, oxidation and oil viscosity before you decide to clean the system. Mobil Clean Industrial degreases metal parts by brush, spray, immersion or ultrasound. The manufacturer also allows Mobilsol PM for brush or immersion cleaning of machine parts, gearboxes and bearings.
Add it gradually, 1% of system volume at a time, up to 4%, and leave it in circulation for 3–10 days of operation, checking the filters regularly. Then drain the warm oil, flush the system with a small amount of new oil, change the filters and refill with fresh oil.
Not without technical consultation. The manufacturer does not recommend it for CNC machine tools and systems with servo valves, because even fine particles released from deposits can disturb valve operation. Clean such systems strictly to the machine builder’s instructions.
Yes. If the pump or bearing maker sets a maximum viscosity, the change after adding Mobilsol PM is calculated from blending tables. Sometimes it must first be mixed with a lower-viscosity oil. We will help you calculate it.
It is flammable, with a flash point of 58°C, so it requires proper precautions. It contains no chlorinated components, is practically odorless and almost free of aromatic hydrocarbons. The safety data sheet describes how to work with it.
