Lithium grease, mineral oil
A general-purpose EP grease for rolling and plain bearings, bushings and pins in most machines.
Choose it when:
Lithium complex grease
A grease for severe duty: high temperature, water and heavy loads in industry.

A synthetic lithium complex grease for frost and high temperatures, up to 150°C.

Polyurea grease
A grease developed for electric motor bearings, including sealed-for-life bearings.

A grease for heavily loaded, water-saturated bearings in steel mills and paper mills.

A bearing rarely fails suddenly: first water washes out the grease, heat oxidizes it or load breaks the lubricating film.
Water washout
Mobilux EP and Mobilgrease XHP resist water washout. The manufacturer recommends Mobil Centaur XHP for water-saturated bearings.
High temperatureMobilith SHC works up to 150°C, and Mobil Polyrex EM lubricates bearings for a long time at elevated temperature.
Heavy load, low speed
The manufacturer recommends Mobilgrease XHP 461, 462 and Mobilith SHC 460 for heavy loads at low speed, and Mobilith SHC 1500 for very slow bearings.
Frost and centralized systems
Mobilux EP 0 and EP 1 pump well in centralized systems. Mobilith SHC 007 works from -50°C.
Open gear tooth wear
Mobilgear OGL contains fine graphite that protects the teeth under boundary lubrication.
The amount and frequency of relubrication matter as much as the choice of grease. An expert will help you set them.

Prefer to call?+48 71 359 34 62Mobilux EP is a lithium grease for normal conditions, up to 130°C. Mobilgrease XHP has a lithium complex thickener and handles up to 140°C, water and heavy duty. For frost and higher temperatures, choose synthetic Mobilith SHC.
NLGI describes consistency: the higher the grade, the harder the grease. In the Mobilux EP series, grade 2 is for common bearings, and 0 and 1 for centralized systems.
Not without checking compatibility. Ask us before you change grease.
The manufacturer developed Mobil Polyrex EM for electric motor bearings, including sealed-for-life bearings. For high-speed motor bearings it also recommends Mobilith SHC 100 and Mobiltemp SHC 100.
