Turbine oil works a long time in one circuit and wears quietly. Oxidation, deposits on filters and valves, water from steam leaks and air in the oil start problems before the turbine shows them.
Oxidation at high temperatureAll four series resist oxidation. Synthetic SHC 825 also protects the oil when the hot turbine heats it after shutdown.
Deposits on filters and valves
DTE 700 controls deposits, so filters clog less often. DTE 800 keeps the cleanliness heavily loaded gas turbines require.
Water from steam leaks
DTE 700, DTE 800 and Teresstic T separate water quickly. This protects steam turbine bearings.
Foam and air in the oil
DTE 700, Teresstic T and SHC 825 release air quickly and resist foaming, which protects pumps from cavitation.
Rust and gear wear
DTE 800 has a zinc-free anti-wear package for geared turbines. DTE 700 and Teresstic T protect oil system components against rust and corrosion.

Yes, SHC 825 is fully compatible with mineral oils. Mixing does reduce its properties, so plan the oil change with us.
A wind turbine main gearbox takes gear oil, not turbine oil. Mobil specifies Mobil SHC Gear 320 WT for it. Ask an expert to match your turbine.
Oil condition decides, not the calendar. Regular sample analysis shows whether the oil can keep working.
