A pneumatic tool gets its oil with the compressed air, and moisture comes with it. Wear starts with rust, valve deposits and a broken film in the percussive mechanism. Other special oils have their own pages: cylinder oils, heat transfer oils, cleaning and flushing oils, high-temperature and fire-resistant oils and anti-corrosion agents.
Moisture in compressed air
Mobil Almo emulsifies moisture from the air stream and keeps a continuous oil film even when water is present.
Sticking valves
The oil does not form gummy deposits that disturb valve operation. Chemical stability limits sludge and deposits.
Tool wear and corrosion
It protects parts against wear, and good adhesion protects metal surfaces against rust and corrosion.
Cold from air expansionA low pour point protects against ice blockages, and a high viscosity index keeps lubrication at low and high temperatures.

A pneumatic tool consumes its oil as it runs: the oil arrives with the compressed air and does not return to a reservoir, so there is nothing to test. Prefer to call?+48 71 359 34 62Same series, same application; they differ in viscosity. Almo 525 has 46 mm²/s at 40°C and flows down to −30°C; Almo 527 has 100 mm²/s and flows down to −27°C. Choose the viscosity from the tool maker’s recommendations and the operating temperature. The series lets you choose an oil for year-round work.

Mobil Almo 527 can be applied by hand or from a built-in reservoir in smaller tools. Larger equipment uses line lubricators or centralized lubrication systems.
